SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES
To submit your romance manuscript for consideration, please follow the below guidelines.
Satin and Stone will consider manuscripts in all sub-genres of romance meeting the following criteria:
Manuscript must be at least 50,000 words in length. Short story submissions must be complete and between 10,000 and 15,000 words in length.

Manuscript must be edited before submission. S & S will not consider rough drafts.

Series will be considered, if submitted with series overview. See details below.

Romance plot must be trope-centric.

HEA/HFN ending is required.

Cliffhangers will be accepted if HEA/HFN comes at the end of a series.

S & S will not consider a previously published work.

S & S will not accept erotica/romance with the following themes: non-consensual acts, humiliation, scat play, bestiality, incest/pseudo-incest or pedophilia. We reserve the right to reject a manuscript for any reason.
To submit your manuscript, please send your query letter along with the first three chapters of your manuscript in the body of your email. If submitting as part of a series, please include an overview/outline of the series plot. Do not send attachments. If we are interested, we will request the completed manuscript. We will not consider unfinished manuscripts.
To submit your horror/thriller/suspense manuscript for consideration, please follow the below guidelines.
Darkstone Press will consider manuscripts in all sub-genres of thriller, horror, science fiction and suspense meeting the following criteria:

Darkstone will accept the following genres: horror, thriller, suspense, science fiction, dystopian and similar genres.
